Founded by Washington, D.C. native filmmaker, author, and journalist Calvin Ruffin II, Ruffin2Productions has spent over three decades documenting real stories, preserving culture, and creating independent films with purpose. A graduate of Norfolk State University with a degree in Mass Communication/Journalism, Ruffin has worked on major productions including Spike Lee’s Bamboozled, John Singleton’s Shaft, and Brett Ratner’s The Family Man. He is also the creator of The DCdrama Magazine, the foundation that evolved into today’s Lions Den Tell-E-Vision (LDTV), and author of the acclaimed novel The Maryland Boys.
